Material relating to the Pennsylvania Military College Museum (PMC Museum), which opened on October 14, 2000. The museum is housed in a newly constructed wing of the Alumni Auditorium. This box includes: Clippings about the opening of the museum; List of contents of a previous PMC Museum; List of the photographs included on the Museum's Timeline; Copies of poem "I Am the Corps" written by Frank Gilliam, class of 1973. Photographs of the opening reception; Video of PMC Museum Opening Ceremony and Dedication, 2000. List of films available as of October, 2000 (on videocassette) relating to Pennsylvania Military College. Donation by Vic Rumore of clipping and PMC Parents Bulletins. His father, Edwin Miles, graduated from PMC in 1905. Vic was PMC Class of 1960. The Distinguished Alumni Brochure (Booklet) handed out at Homecoming 2001. This contains biographies of R. Kelso Carter, Class of 1867; Bill Stern, Class of 1930; Cecil B. DeMille, attended PMC 1896 to 1898; Burt Mustin, Class of 1903; Rukard Hurd, Class of 1878; Leslie C. Quick, Jr., (Leslie Quick), Class of 1950; General John H. Tilelli, Class of 1963. Sabre & Sash, Newsletter of the Pennsylvania Military College Cadet Class of 1950, 2003. Letters concerning the beginning of the PMC Museum, written by President Bruce to Russell Bragg and Leslie Quick. (Donated by President Harris' office.) Program from the Moving Wall Vietnam Veterans Memorial that was on campus May, 2007. DVD with PMC films from Walter Reasor, donated to the Archives by Ron Romanowicz and Don Charles. DVD entitled "Pass in Review" created by PMC Museum Committee Members. Includes videos of the "PMC Story". 1920's film clips, including General Pershing's campus visit; Atlantic City Boardwalk Bowl 1961 (PMC vs. Kings Point, US Merchant Marine Academy); a 1966 PMC Parade; Pershing Rifles Highlights; PMC Band wins 1965 National ROTC . Competition (two selections); PMC Band at 1966 Mardi Gras; PMC Band at 1966 Eagles vs. Cowboys game (two selections). Also a Proof Copy of the "Pass in Review" DVD. Archival copies of some of these DVDs can be found in Box 3 Archival CDs & DVDs. DVD with films donated by Andy Fraser; includes "Chuck Up Front" (features Charles March '66, the Drum Sergeant, leading the 1965 year PMC Band. The parade is in front of Old Main on 14th Street. The occasion is unknown.) and "PMC Alma Mater 1965" (a recording of Old Main's original Albie Filoretto carillon playing a portion of the PMC Alma Mater. This was recorded by Band member David Rittman '65 in that class year. The carillon has since been renovated.). DVD of images used in PMC Museum Cadet Life exhibit that opened in the fall of 2012. Also includes additional images considered for use in the exhibit. An archival copy of this CD can be found in Box 1 Archival CDs & DVDs.These images can also be found in the Wolfgram Cloud under "PMC Museum Cadet Life Exhibit". DVD of photographs purchased from Historical Society of Pennsylvania, some of which were used in PMC Museum Exhibits. These photographs require permission from the HSP before they can be used. Topics include: Polo, Football, Calvary, and Student Life. An archival copy of this CD can be found in Box 2 Archival CDs & DVDs. These photographs can also be found in the Wolfgram Cloud under "Wolfgram Cloud Historical Society of PA Photos". CD of poster Cadet Corps Commanders printed in 2014. PMC Museum Guest Book signed by visitors.
