Photographs of William Wolfgram; Articles and correspondence about his death in 1945; sheet music to song "American Capers" written for him by his piano teacher, John W. Schaum; Certificate awarding him the Purple Heart. Letter from War Department describing the Bronze Star citation William Wolfgram received after his death. The letter is dated August 16, 1945. Letter from a researcher in Italy describing a chapel built on top of Mt. Croce, in Italy, by ex-servicemen of the Italian Mountain Force. The chapel was built in memory of the soldiers fallen in World War II, and has William Wolfgram's name mentioned in it. This letter given to the archives by Professor Joseph Edgette. Note: William Wolfgram was buried at the Wisconsin Memorial Park in Brookfield, Wisconsin. Box that contained the Purple Heart William Wolfgram earned (the actual medal ison display in Library near elevator).
