R.J. Davis, General Manager of the Eastern District of the American Bridge Company allowed cadets to view the plant of the Pencoyd Branch of the American Bridge Company in Philadelphia on February 28, 1918.

Garnett Pendleton, Esq., President of the Cambridge Trust Company of Chester spoke. A Stokes' weapon was fired; it was brought from Camp Dix by Captain Barrow Green. Gun was demonstrated by British Sergeant Norman C. License and Captain Edward Brautigaum. Pool, Voskamp, Richards, Harvey, Bastian, Crothers, Kimmerle,Pleet, Naylor played in a basketball game. A dance was also held. William J. Simpson, father of cadet William R. Simpson, provided "hop" music.
