Fundraising race held on April 6th for Widener student and Volunteer Firefighter Chase Frost, severely injured fighting a building fire in Parkside. Story includes color photo of race.

The Office of Greek Life called off the remainder of Greek Week activities because of reported unauthorized drinking events. Includes color photo titled Greeks take a firm stand on their roof.
“Dean Pies Students for Charity”
The Pie A Phi, pie tossing fundraiser was held March 28th. It was a joint project of Phi Delta Theta Fraternity and Phi Sigma Sigma Sorority. Includes color photo of Dean Manning tossing pie at a fraternity brother.

Residence Halls Association sponsors Widener Wars competition among residence halls held April 14th to April 20th.
“Editorial: Shh… Shout it Out: a Day of Silence”
April 25th is 12th annual Day of Silence, a student led day of action concerning bullying and harassment of the LGBT community.
“Hypnosis: How Clucking Like a Chicken Can Relieve Stress”
Includes comments by hypnotherapist Barbara Gambrill and presentation by hypnotist Joe DeVito on April 24th sponsored by Widener University’s Student Life.
Annual event will be held on the week of April.
